The “Halftime” is the interval between the two halves of a match. It serves several purposes:
- allows competitors to rest briefly and recover from the first half’s gameplay.
- intermission for spectators, where they can enjoy a snack or attend to their basic needs when having too many beers.
- it offers entertainment: musical performances, cheerleading numbers, marching band presentations, you name it.
- it gives commentators time to provide a quick recap and hightlights of the first half.
but most important of all: it gives a coach the opportunity to deliver powerful insights and motivation to his team.
This is what Halftime Social is all about, it is intended as a space where social media strategies will be discussed, insights will be offered, entertainment might have an appearance and “coaching tips” will be available.
At the end of the day, we’re all doing what we love here, I love sports and social media, and halftime social is exactly the place where both coexist.
